Estimated fuel cost
Rs 9,173
About 34.6 litres requiredHow this calculator helps
Turn a route distance into a realistic fuel budget using your own vehicle's average mileage and the price displayed at the pump. The breakdown includes litres required, cost per kilometre and total estimated spend.
How to use it
- 1
Enter the full driving distance, including the return journey where applicable.
- 2
Use your vehicle's recent real-world kilometres per litre.
- 3
Enter the current pump price and allow extra budget for congestion or detours.
Formula and methodology
Fuel required = distance ÷ average mileage. Estimated cost = fuel required × price per litre. Cost per kilometre = price per litre ÷ mileage.
Worked calculation example
For a 450 km journey in a car averaging 13 km/l at PKR 265 per litre, the estimate uses about 34.6 litres and reports the corresponding trip cost.
What can affect the result?
Traffic
Idling and stop-start driving usually reduce fuel economy.
Vehicle condition
Tyre pressure, servicing, load and air conditioning influence consumption.
Route profile
Motorway, city and mountain routes can produce very different mileage.
Limits of this estimate
The estimate assumes one average mileage and price; it cannot predict traffic, route changes, fuel-quality effects or refuelling-price changes.
