Formula and methodology
Petrol cost = distance รท mileage ร petrol price. EV cost = distance ร kWh/km ร electricity rate.
Worked calculation example
At 50 km daily, a 40 km/litre bike uses 37.5 litres monthly. Compare that with the electricity needed by the selected EV efficiency.
