Final price
Rs 6,000
After discountHow this calculator helps
Check a sale offer without doing mental arithmetic. The calculator first removes the stated percentage from the original price, then optionally applies a tax or service rate to the discounted amount.
How to use it
- 1
Enter the original listed price before the promotion.
- 2
Enter the advertised discount percentage.
- 3
Add any tax or service percentage that is charged after the discount.
Formula and methodology
Discount = original price × discount rate ÷ 100. Sale price = original price − discount. Final total = sale price × (1 + additional rate ÷ 100).
Worked calculation example
A PKR 8,000 item at 25% off saves PKR 2,000 and costs PKR 6,000 before any optional tax or service charge.
What can affect the result?
Stacked offers
Two sequential discounts do not equal their percentages simply added together.
Price basis
Confirm whether the offer applies to the full item price or only selected components.
Extra charges
Delivery, service fees and taxes can reduce the effective saving.
Limits of this estimate
The calculator assumes one discount followed by one optional percentage charge and does not interpret store-specific offer conditions.
